Unsubscribe from all mods, then delete the Cache-Folder, start Civ5 again and subscribe to the mods from within the ingame-browser. The game should start downloading them then. However, the game doesn't show mods until they're done downloading, so if you're downloading big mods they will take a while to show up. THis may not be the answer but I had to do a windows clean install reinstalled civ 5 got it working. when i checked all mods subscribed to there were supposedly 2 even though none on mod screen. unsubscribed again jusy played a total conversion right through with no errors. I dont know for sure which sorted it out clean install is a bit extreme but maybe the other might help somebody. My Mods Won't Download? Discussion A few months I first discovered mods, and subscribed to many different mods, since then, I have had to get my computer replaced, and now when I look for the mods I can't find them in the mod screen, I look in the steam workshop, and it lists the mods I had before as "subscribed" but they don't show up in the list of mods available, how can I fix this?
